Oia must be one of the most famous, and most photographed villages in all of the Greek islands. Known for the blue domed churches, stunning sunsets, traditional white houses, terraces and verandas this village is a must see location for anyone visiting Santorini.
Watch the sunsets from the walls of Kastro, and squeeze your way through the narrow sloping cobbled streets. Lots of jewellery, souvenirs, handicrafts and of course rows of picture postcards of the stunning views from this magical place.
You can also take the 300 or so steps down to the port at Ammoudi and take a small boat to one of the small islands formed by the remains of the eruptions in the centre of the caldera.
